Waxit Presents
Detailing Workshop // PPF Prep Course 301
This course is aimed at detailers, vinyl wrap shops, tinters, PPF installers & other applicable trades.
It is expected that attendee's will already have a base level of knowledge to build upon in our prep class, as we delve into more advanced methods, techniques and products for decontamination, and learn how to prep a car specifically for applying Paint Protection Film.
In the world of detailing, there is a common saying that the products you use are only as good as your prep.
This is because if you don't prep the paintwork well, any wax, sealant, coating or other product isn't going to bond well to the paint, and last a long time.
This is also very applicable to the realm of Paint Protection Film.
In order for the film to tack the best, and ensure the film remains durable, and adheres to the paintwork for the longest time - prep is essential.
This class is to reinforce, and teach proper decontamination practices specific to Paint Protection Film, and what you can do to ensure your prep is spot on - and overall have better & easier results.
PPF Prep 301 aims to expose participants to the highest standard of detailing surface preparation, with an emphasis on working safely but efficiently in a professional environment.
A focus will be placed on using various professional grade tools, equipment, and products to both increase productivity and render higher standards of finished results.
