This program is designed for professional detailers who would like to gain full accreditation, along with better pricing for professional only certified ceramic/glass paint-coatings, such as CQuartz Professional, CQuartz Finest Reserve, DQuartz and Nova Pro. *Please note: This is not a training course, but rather an assessment program in which the detailer/s will display their competent skill level and knowledge in the general area in automotive detailing. We require that participants:
- Are currently working in the detailing industry
- Have a registered business or be employed by a registered business
- Competent and knowledgeable in the various areas of automotive detailing

The AICP is designed to assess the participant’s detailing competence and skill level to determine eligibility and readiness for certification, and to install Cquartz Professional, Cquartz Finest Reserve or Nova Pro grade coating. Where gaps are identified, participants will gain theoretical knowledge and practical skills in providing the highest standard of automotive surface preparation and application of the specified professional grade coatings.

Participants are required to answer questions and complete tasks as a means of assessing their readiness for certification level. The majority of the assessment will be based on the individuals performance in relation to working safely, efficiently and effectively on an actual over a period of two days. During this two-day period the participants must display competent skill level and knowledge is the main areas of exterior detailing including surface preparation, paint correction and paint protection and coatings. If the participants passes the authorised installer assessment, then they will be properly authorised in their chosen respective coating - being listed on the official brands website as an authorised applicator, and gain access to better pricing for the coatings. Successful participants will also be able to access banners, written certification and other promotional material. Attendees will also be contacted prior to the course to discuss plans for their business as well as other requirements, such as location. CarPro installers aren't packed in with each other like other brands, so we also need to confirm operating address to confirm eligibility so other nearby installers aren't negatively impacted.

This program is designed to be highly interactive. The facilitator will adopt a student-centred, low-tech approach to learning. The facilitator will coach and facilitate participant learning through formal and informal assessment, classroom participation and practical skill application. This program is delivered in several modules; each module aligned to the main assessment objectives and factors. Each module of this program has several parts and activities. Participants are expected to carry out activities individually.

- Understanding of the different products, tools, and equipment used in professional detailing

- Understanding of the principles applied in applying and caring for the ceramic/glass coatings

If you want to take your business to the next level and gain the opportunity to access professional grade nano coatings, then this program is a must.
This is not a training program but rather an assessment based course that requires those attending the ability to show their level of knowledge of surface prep, paint correction and application of nano coatings.
Over two days, our group went through the whole process using a donor vehicle and applied our practical skills all under the watchful eye of the facilitator.
Personally, I enjoyed this process and got to meet/work with other skilled detailers which was a bonus.
We also got to understand the nuances of specific professional grade coatings, some of which were new to market.
Finally, the executive team at Waxit go through some options of how to better position your business in terms of nano coatings and leveraging the exclusivity of professional grade coatings and services to future customers.
