CARPRO Blackout is an innovative Rubber Coating that will keep your tyres looking fantastic!

CARPRO BlackOut utilizes polysiloxane technology merged with an acrylic resin to create an incredibly durable protective coating for rubber tyres. The coating is far more durable than traditional tyre dressings, while it's also 100% dry to the touch and with no sticky side effects of silicone based products. This unique formula also inhibits the deterioration of rubber and protects from UV rays.

Directions:

  1. Wash tires thoroughly, something like Shine Supply Wise Guy is perfect.
  2. Dry very well!
  3. Pour a line of BlackOut on the tire applicator sponge.
  4. Work in the coat over the tire walls surface. (Add product as needed)
  5. Let the coating dry for a bare minimum of 30 minutes.
  6. To apply a second layer, repeat the steps above.

    DO NOT APPLY TO MICHELIN PS4S TYRES

    After applying to deep cleaned tyres, Blackout (2021) creates a horrible blooming (browning) after a number of days that is nearly impossible to remove. I have taken most off with some spare TUF Shine tyre cleaner and brush, but will take about 10 applications to see near white foam under the brush. I'm sure this stuff is great, but the chemistry is horrid with MPS4s Tyres.

    Time will tell.

    Easy product to apply. 2 coats on 225/40/R18 left me with at least enough for another coat when needed (50ml) bottle.

    New formula looks more vibrant than old one. Will see how long it lasts, but happy so far.

    Initial Impression, Great Finish

    Good note for those doing large 4wd tyres, go with 100ml bottle. 50ml bottle doesn't do all 4 @265/70R17 (one coat only) . Will have to see how longevity goes offroad.
